Ryan Galloway spent his early years studying tap, jazz, and hip-hop. He performed with the professional troupe Fever Inferno Hip-Hop Squad and also earned many titles at national dance competitions. He was introduced to contemporary dance in college at Indiana University and was quickly cast in many guest works including Paul Taylor's Esplanade, David Parsons' Nascimento Novo, Larry Keigwin's Runway, and Ishan Rustem's Long Story Short. He also performed at the National College Dance Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and was awarded the Provost's Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity in the category of Performing and Creative Arts. Ryan has performed with Elizabeth Shea Dance at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, the American Dance Guild's Festival 2014 at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre, the Midwest Dance Festival, and as a guest with the Indianapolis-based Dance Kaleidoscope, directed by former Graham dancer David Hochoy. Ryan and his wife, Kimberly, are entering their second year of studio ownership of Principle Dance in Forest Park, IL. This is Ryan’s third season as a main company member with Giordano Dance Chicago following two seasons as a Senior Performing Associate.

began training and competing in dance at age 8 in her hometown, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Kristi ended her competitive career in 2012 with a UDA Collegiate National Title in Division I Jazz with Cal State Fullerton’s Titans Dance Team. In 2014, Kristi graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Dance from California State University, Fullerton. She was a member of the university’s Dance Repertory Theatre, where she the honor of premiering works by choreographers such as Daniel Charon, Colin Connor, Jiří Kylián, and Jonathan Fredrickson. Upon graduation, Kristi joined Keshet Dance Company (Albuquerque, NM), where she had opportunities to create and premiere her own choreographic works and perform abroad in Italy and Switzerland. Since relocating to Chicago in mid-2015, Kristi has created a multi-faceted career in dance that spans from performance and choreography to marketing and press publication. She is the Dance Editor at DancerMusic.com, a press website for discovering the latest in music and dance. Kristi actively teaches youth and adult dance classes throughout the Chicagoland area and dances professionally with Chicago Dance Crash. She is thrilled to join Metamorphosis: Fearless Evolution!

Levizadik (Deek) Buckins began his dance education at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, Connecticut. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, under the direction Ethan Stiefel. During his time at UNCSA, he worked with choreographers such as Brenda Daniels, Trish Casey, and Diego Schoch. He has also had the chance to work with well-known choreographers Maurya Kerr, Larry Keigwin, Scott Rink, and Trish Lent. He has performed professionally with the Winston-Salem Festival of Ballet under the direction of Gary Taylor in North Carolina, and River North Dance Chicago under the direction of Frank Chaves. While at River North Dance Chicago he worked with Adam Barruch, Kevin Iega Jeff, Ashley Roland, and Ivan Perez. Levizadik is currently a dance instructor at Chicago High School of the Arts.

Joanna Paul received degrees in Dance and Kinesiology from Indiana University. After graduating with highest distinction, she relocated to Chicago. In addition to Trifecta Dance Collective, she has performed with Esoteric Dance Project, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater, and Project606 Dance. Joanna’s work has been set on Esoteric Dance Project as part of their Choreographic Mentorship Program, Trifecta Dance Collective and Project606 Dance. She has presented with Dances in the Hall, Going Dutch Dance Festival, and the Awakening Movement Project (NYC). In 2017, she co-produced a multidisciplinary performance, Where Beauty Rises, at Links Hall with the non-profit Photoserve. All proceeds went to clean water organization Wine to Water. In 2018, she and co-choreographer Colleen Welch received an Independent Artist Grant from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs to create Dance Across Chicago, a series using live music, dance and technology to bring free performances to public spaces and two Chicago public schools. Joanna is also an instructor at the Dance and Music Academy and a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor. She is thrilled to be a part of the Trifecta Dance Collective leadership.

The Metamorphosis Performance Ensemble (MPE), a group of select dancers from around the nation. The ensemble will learn and perform a full-length work in the Choreography Showcase as well as the Collective Contemporary Showcase. the Applications for the October MPE are now open:
