Our affiliates from across the nation have partnered with Trifecta Dance Collective to validate inspiring, creative work in the youth contemporary dance sector through the Collective Contemporary Awards.

Invitations for the Collective Contemporary Awards will be distributed at our affiliates’ events to standout dances in the contemporary genre.

Fearless Artistry Award
The Fearless Artistry Award is presented to a piece encompassing risk-taking, innovative movement. Clear choreographic proof of thought and attention to detail will be evident throughout the dance.
Creative Spatial Integration Award
The Creative Spatial Integration Award is presented to a work demonstrating dynamic use of space and geometric patterning. Dancers will display a keen sense of kinesthetic and spatial awareness emphasized through the choreographic framework.
Dynamic Musicality Award
The Dynamic Musicality Award is presented to choreography exhibiting a distinctive interpretation of a musical score through movement telling a clear story. Evidence of the connection between music, concept, and movement is transparent during the piece.
Most Inspirational Impression Award
The Most Inspirational Impression Award is presented to a compelling work with notable use of time, space, and energy to further choreographic conceptual impact. This piece will stand out in its ability to connect dancer and viewer through expressive movement.
TOP STUDIO CHOREOGRAPHY OF THE YEAR
Top Studio Choreography of the Year is awarded to a piece of visionary choreography igniting the evolution of youth contemporary dance. This will be a work comprised of impactful, innovative, and artistic movement integrating creative spatial patterns and dynamic musicality.

A studio representative (Studio Owner/Dance Teacher/Choreographer) MUST be present at the Metamorphosis; Fearless Evolution experience and the Collective Contemporary Awards to be eligible for the Collective Contemporary Awards.
Students must be registered for the event.
OPTIONAL: Nominated studios are eligible to perform (1) Group Piece in The Showcase. The nominated studio may perform either the nominated work or a new work from the current season.

Our esteemed adjudicating team is comprised of visionary leaders from the professional and collegiate dance worlds. Winners are hand-selected through a curated review process. Each piece is measured by its contribution to the evolution of the craft and specific category criteria, ensuring that our honorees embody the future of contemporary dance.
