THE SHOWCASE
The Showcase is comprised of two Acts, one for solos and one for groups. The Showcase displays artistic and technical work from elite dancers and choreographers from across the nation. These pieces strive to advance the contemporary youth dance sector and push the boundaries of the dance field.
ACT I - THE SOLOS
Solo performance spots in The Showcase are highly sought-after and limited to ten selected artists. All submitted works undergo review by our esteemed panel of adjudicators.
To be considered:
Register: Dancers must first be registered for the full Metamorphosis: Fearless Evolution experience.
Submit: Complete the Solo Submission Form for review.
Please Note: Performance in The Showcase is a curated honor; therefore, there is no additional fee to perform. While we celebrate our scholarship recipients and MPE members, these designations do not automatically secure a solo placement. All dancers, including MPE performers, must complete the submission form to be considered for a solo spotlight.
Submit the Solo Submission Google Form by August 20th, 2026.
Soloists will be notified of their acceptance via email by September 1st, 2026.
Group Showcases
Pieces nominated for the Collective Contemporary Awards may perform ONE work of their choosing under 5 minutes. This is a unique opportunity to get a jumpstart on the dance season by premiering a new contemporary dance work or performing a piece for the last time in the beautiful Museum of Contemporary Art Theatre.

Only one dance per studio may perform in The Showcase.
